Education
I have a BA in History from Molloy College, awarded in 2006, and a Master of Library & Information Science with a concentration in Archives & Records Management, awarded in 2009. I also have 12 credits towards a History MA from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
Experience
I have taken classes on such topics as American History, the Vietnam War, Modern China, Western Civilization, and the Middle East. I have read extensively on such topics as the World Wars, the Byzantine Empire, and many areas of cultural history. I used to read my history textbooks for fun, and I was always adding to class discussions in both my undergrad and graduate classes. I enjoy helping people learn and sharing my enthusiasm for learning with others. As a person on the Autism Spectrum, I feel that I can serve as a good example and mentor figure for students dealing with similar learning and personal issues.
