#### Education

Stony Brook University - B.S., Applied Mathematics & Statistics#### Experience

I am a graduate of Stony Brook University with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. While at Stony Brook, I was a tutoring assistant for students who were seeking help in the mathematics department. Along with being an undergraduate tutor, I have also been a professor's assistant in statistics. I am most content providing tutoring services in statistics and I have teaching experience with all math, from middle school to calculus subjects. I like teaching by example, therefore, I prefer tutoring the students in my degree field. One of the many ways that I help my students to pick up on math skills is by finding the answer, then going back over the process in detail. When a student understands how we executed a problem and possible alternative methods for finding the correct answer, they can increase their mathematical skills tenfold. Purposeful explanation of the details is what sets apart getting the right answers from true understanding. I pride myself on being a patient tutor and students will always find me with a smile on my face. Along with my tutoring efforts, I like playing video games and I even participate in tournaments. Computers and playing soccer are my secondary interests when I have time to spare.#### Hobbies
